I have had 2 dates for opp since last post 1st one on the 24th March and this has just been changed again to 15th March.

last week i had to attend occy health, next week human resources at my place of work with a new manager who i hardley know and H.R manager i have never met, i am going to try and get my union rep to attend, but this is very short notice, not to sure if they will be able to .

i was told at my last meeting with H.R that they would wait untill after my opp, but they are calling me now?

just thought i would keep you all up to date, with the opp thing!

hope Kellys well, havnt heard from her in a while.

Love to all

Hi Anne-Marie,

So sorry to read of your cancelled op - I haven`t been on the forum much lately, so I`m coming on very late on this. You must be so frustrated. It`s horrible being all psyched up for the op, and then having it not take place. Fingers crossed for the 15th of March, and hope it not only goes ahead, but goes well for you.

Take care,

Kathleen x

Hello, opp still set for the 15th March,... I have seen both occy health and human resources, cant do much until after opp.
My manager asked if i would like less hrs? I only do 20 hrs as it is, next month i will be on half pay, i will manage as they say will have to, lucky for me hubby has a job.

I cant wait to have this opp over and done with, need to get back to work, i need the company, I get so fed up at home, family are good, but its not the same, i am so tired just trying to keep the house clean, and it just seems like a thank less task, when i was working, i was given more help in the house, now when i need it ............. , its strange how when you have always worked but then and stop even with this wretched illness, that you feel guilty.

I know its my own fault and i should just ask for help, i assume that the family know!

Good luck Anne Marie,

I hope that the op goes ahead this time.
Work is so hard when you have a long term condition. I have struggled so much and can't tell you the relief just to let it go and put my health and well being first. Sometimes hard choices have to be made. Truth is that we can't do it all or have it all. Unfair but true. I hope to goodness that something improves for you soon.

Take care,

Eleanor x

ThumpUp Thank you all once again, for your kind words.

Eleanor, i think your so right, if work were to dismiss me now on ill health grounds i would be quite happy, but if i just hand in my notice i would not be entitled to
any benefits, which would make life a bit difficult financially.

wishing you all well.
